Junior Information Assurance Analyst

TruShield Security Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a junior to mid-level Information Assurance Analyst to perform the following duties:

  • Serve as a CyberSecurity Professional
  • Perform IA activities to include
  • Enterprise Risk Assessments
  • Vulnerability Assessments
  • Penetration Testing
  • Compromise Assessments
  • IT Compliance Audits
  • Conduct Security Awareness Training
  • Incident Response
  • Digital Forensics
  • Malware Reverse Engineering
  • Network Security Architecture Analysis and Improvement Planning
  • Represent TruShield as a spokesperson at webinars, conferences, and special meetings correlated to information assurance and security awareness
  • Vulnerability Research & Reporting
  • Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
  • Draft IT Security Policy

Travel
10 – 20% with chance of increase as the business grows.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years knowledge of network security countermeasures and provide network environment support by paying special attention to intrusion detection, finding and fixing unprotected vulnerabilities, and ensuring that remote access points are well secured with continued focus on threats and vulnerabilities that may impact the security of client’s systems
  • Must be a team player who leads by example
  • Achieve PCI QSA certification within 6 monthsof hire
  • Superior organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Able to work under critical time deadlines, re-evaluate priorities and interact well with all levels of personnel

Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following:

  • SEC+
  • CISSP
  • CISA
  • CEH
  • CPT
  • GCIH

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Demonstrated specialized experience highlighting the following:

  • Experience with maintaining and monitoring the security posture of the installation of software and equipment on the various networks
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues with both hardware and software; evaluating incoming software to be installed on a network
  • Experience with providing authoritative technical advice and guidance to other IT generalist as well as non-IT professionals
  • Experience with IT Regulatory Compliance (PCI, FISMA, NCUA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Experience with Risk Management Frameworks (NIST, OWASP, etc.)
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and utilizing automated vulnerability toolsets as well parsing, analysis, and reporting on results
